TORMAX UNINET—LON-BASED DOOR MANAGEMENT

Thanks to TORMAX plug-in, TORMAX automatic sliding doors can be integrated into LONWORKS?-based building management systems at very low operation expenses. The plug-in software is implemented into a program such as LON MAKER? for Windows or any other LNS-compatible software program. Interoperability of TORMAX automatic sliding doors with other manufacturer`s products (access control, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, etc.) is guaranteed making an intelligent building management system possible. Via virtual wiring the doors receive and process commands, for instance from the air conditioning and ventilation systems. In other words, the doors can automatically adapt themselves to a larger or smaller opening width according to an increase or drop in temperature. The obvious advantages:

All opening modes and parameters can be set or modified from a central point via a graphical user interface on the PC, ensuring greater user comfort

The door opening and closing times can also be programmed via the PC, saving time and therefore money

The same interface constantly shows the actual status of the individual doors (diagnostics) - this constant monitoring provides 100% security since you can react immediately to any unusual door functions meaning the door`s operability is therefore retained

The 24-hour alarm system connected via a modem or other communication medium to designated security companies or the police is also possible - immediate intervention is guaranteed
